Thanks to CCP Games, third-party developers have access to the static in-game data via the EVE Online Toolkit. The toolkit includes a SQL database of game related items and the associated icon graphics. Read More

In order to retrieve real-time in-game data, such as the character’s market orders or account balance, the EVE Online API is accessed via a web service method. The returned XML output is then parsed using LINQ, and stored in the EVE Mesh SQL database. Each web service response is cached in the SQL database for the duration specified by CCP in the returned XML output. Read More

The Marketron is an EVE Mesh market analytics tool, which processes market log data that is transmitted via the Marketron Client tool; a downloadable WPF application. Thanks to EVE Central’s libevecache library, the Marketron Client tool is able to extract market data directly from the EVE Online's game client cache file and upload it to EVE Mesh for further analysis.

Intelligence is time sensitive, which is why the Marketron also incorporates relative RSS news feeds from EVE Online and Ten Ton Hammer. While browsing the EVE Mesh marketplace, members are automatically notified of market item related news.
